Why I started this

The tools that transform big companies almost never reach small ones.

For years my job was helping large enterprises modernize: move to the cloud, retire the clunky systems, automate the work no one should be doing by hand. The technology was genuinely good. The problem was who got to use it. A global company could afford the project. The congregation, the early childhood program, the family business running on spreadsheets and one volunteer who knows how everything works, they never could, even though they needed it more.

I left AWS to close that gap. SamsonIT brings that same enterprise-grade automation to the organizations the big vendors overlook, in plain language, on the tools they already use. It is also the home of LAura, an AI email assistant I built for professionals who cannot compromise on confidentiality: encrypted, privacy-first, and built to earn trust.

Where I come from

Israel, the army, the UN, and Chicago's North Shore.

I grew up in Israel, served in the army in a technology and logistics unit, and spent two years with our mission to the United Nations in New York before building a career in tech and putting down roots on Chicago's North Shore. These days, beyond SamsonIT, I serve as President of the Board at Moriah Congregation in Deerfield, and I co-founded IDFence, a security consulting and training practice. Different chapters, same thread: take something people rely on, make it run better, and be someone they can count on.
